Lifetime
warranty/Life time advance replacement.
All memory products are covered by a lifetime warranty. Replacements are
shipped directly from the manufacturer via Federal Express, overnight
delivery, prepaid.
Disks-
Five year
warranty/Two year advance replacement.
All disk drives are covered by a five year warranty. CompuPlus will
advance replace any defective disk product for the first two years.
Customer is responsible for freight. Any D.O.A. products will ship Federal
Express, Economy, freight prepaid. D.O.A. shipments are defined as the
initial thirty days from receipt of products. After the initial two years,
defective disk products are to be returned to the factory for rework.
Normal turn around time is thirty days. Customer is responsible for
freight. Extended advance replacement warranty is available. See Hot
Swap Service below.
Tape Drives-
Three year warranty/Six month advance replacement.
All tape drives are covered by a Three year warranty. CompuPlus will
advance replace any defective tape product for the first 1 year. Customer
is responsible for freight. Any D.O.A. products will ship Federal Express,
Economy, freight prepaid. D.O.A. shipments are defined as the initial
thirty days from receipt of products. After the initial 1 year, defective
tape products are to be returned to the factory for rework. Normal turn
around time is thirty days. Customer is responsible for freight. Extended
advance replacement warranty is available. See Hot
Swap Service below.
CD-ROM/Optical/Floppy
Drives- One
year warranty/Sixty day advance replacement.
All CD-ROM/Optical/Floppy drives are covered by a one year warranty. CompuPlus
will advance replace any defective CD-ROM/Optical/Floppy product for the
first sixty days. Customer is responsible for freight. Any D.O.A. products
will ship Federal Express, Economy, freight prepaid. D.O.A. shipments are
defined as the initial thirty days from receipt of products. After the
initial sixty days, defective tape CD-ROM/Optical/Floppy products are to
be returned to the factory for rework. Normal turn around time is thirty
days. Customer is responsible for freight. Extended advance replacement
warranty is available. See Hot
Swap Service below.
Hot Swap Service-
CompuPlus offers Hot Swap Service on all disk and tape products.
For an additional $100.00 per year, per device, CompuPlus will advance
replace any defective device, overnight, for the full term of the warranty
period. This service must be purchased at the time of the initial order.
If this service is not purchased at the time of the initial order, Hot
Swap Service can be provided on a per instance basis. Customer is
responsible for freight.
CompuPlus On-Site
Services-
On-Site Installation and Service
CompuPlus can provide on-site installation and service of any disk or tape
products including; RAID systems, tape libraries and disk arrays. This
service is provided at $100.00/hour weekdays and business hours,
$150.00/hour weekends and after hours, with a two hour minimum, plus
travel and expenses dependant on location and product(s) requiring service
or installation.
